INDIANAPOLIS, IN (October 30, 2014) – Superintendent of Washington Township Schools, Dr. Nikki Woodson will be shadowing various departments through December. She will be sweeping floors, taking out the trash, serving food, running athletic workouts, and more.
“The goal of my shadowing is to better learn about the support systems that make a school district work on a daily basis. I am interested in seeing the workday through the lens of employees whose position or area is one in which I have never served, or in areas where I have not been directly trained. “
In October, November and December Dr. Woodson will shadow a Building Foreman, a Cafeteria Manager, an Athletic Director, the Deans Office, an Administrative Assistant, and a bus driver.
