Our district is excited to be expanding our full-day kindergarten classes on a limited basis at no cost to our families. The Indiana General Assembly recently passed legislation that provides additional full day kindergarten grant funding for the 2012-2013 school year.  We plan to continue to offer the alternating day kindergarten option as well.

If you have paid any money or made a deposit with the district for the 2012-2013 full day kindergarten program, our Business Office will be sending you a refund within the next 30 days.  Your child’s spot in the full day program is secure for next school year.

If you have applied for a full day scholarship, then your kindergarten child will automatically be placed in a full day classroom.

If you have registered for alternate day, please contact your school by Friday, April 13 to indicate whether you would like your child to remain in the alternate day program or attend the daily program. If we do not receive communication from you by Friday, April 13 we will assume that you intend for your child to stay in the alternate day program.

It is important to note that families are still expected to pay book rental in the fall, similar to grades 1-5.
