The History: The first Allisonville School opened its doors in 1828. Over 170 years later, Allisonville continues the tradition of providing a first rate education. The buildings and sites may have changed, but the excellence remains. Today, Allisonville serves just under 700 students in Kindergarten through fifth grades.

The Staff: Our diverse teachers bring unique strengths to our educational program, more than half have earned advanced degrees, and many have been recognized (locally and nationally) for their outstanding contributions to education. The rest of our staff includes a Literacy Specialist; Math Specialist; ENL instructor; Special Education support team; Media Specialist; Art, Music and Physical Education teachers, and a technology teacher.

What a great celebration we had at Allisonville on Friday evening! Families ate and played together and had a great time! We had hayrides for everyone and served over 1200 free s’mores. Perfect weather, bonfire, s’mores, and food trucks = perfect ingredients to bring over 1000 people to attend! Thank you to the Allisonville Dad’s Club and to all of the many volunteers who make this event happen year after year!
