North Central High School has a health center with registered nurses during school hours. The role of the school nurse is to provide first-aid for minor illnesses and injuries for students and staff. They do not act in place of a physician or health care facility.
If a student becomes ill, they should request a pass to go to the health center. Parents will be notified by the health center in case of a serious illness or injury. Arrangements can be made for students to be picked up or sent to a hospital of the parent’s choice. Only minor first aid services are available in the clinic.
Please direct all questions and or concerns to the health center at (317) 254-5543.
MEDICATION
The clinic will monitor medication administration as well as maintain student clinical records.
In accordance with the State of Indiana, all prescription and non-prescription medication must be administered to students in the health center by designated school employees. The following form explains the medication administration processes.

MSD Washington Township is now 1:1 with technology for all students in grades K-12. Middle and high school students will be assigned a district owned Chromebook to use at school and at home (students will take their devices home at night and on the weekends). The district selected a Chromebook over other devices because it best meets learning objectives, integrates deeply with Google for Education, is compatible with online assessments, is easily managed, and is the most cost efficient. Chromebooks are used in a variety of ways in our classrooms; however, the focus is to provide students with multiple opportunities to research, collaborate, and create.
NOTE: Families will need to update their student’s information in Skyward Family Access before coming to pick up their Chromebook in the North Central Main Gym during Panther Prep.
