Welcome to the 2012-2013 School Year and the Nora PTO. We are looking forward to a great year and the opportunity to work with each of you to make it the best one yet!  Simply having a student enrolled at Nora makes you a member of the PTO and there are many different ways to get involved.  You can choose to assist in your child’s classroom, chaperone a field trip, assist his/her teacher with copies for the class or participate in one of our any in school activities.  Getting involved with the PTO is a great way to get to know your child’s teacher and classmates, while experiencing the daily routines of our school, first hand.

Fundraising is a big responsibility for just a few people! However with a little help from many parents can do so much for the kids, teachers, and school community! Opportunities like helping with movie night once a month or a helping with a special event can make a very distinct difference in the amount of extra learning experiences our children enjoy at Nora Elementary. The Nora PTO happily sponsors several different academic programs that allow our children to have fun while learning. PTO also provides funds for assistants for extra help in the classrooms. Stop by the office or contact your child’s teacher or any member of the PTO Board for a “Count on Me” form Together we can make in difference in the lives of the entire Nora Community.
