Director of Transportation recommendation is approved by the MSDWT Board of Education
INDIANAPOLIS, IN (June 13, 2013) – The Board of Education approved the appointment of Mr. Ke’Vin Roberts at the June 12th regular scheduled board meeting. Roberts was recommended by Superintendent Dr. Nikki Woodson to become the next Director of Transportation for the MSD of Washington Township.
Roberts has served as Washington Township’s Assistant Director of Transportation for the past 5 years; prior to that he served as the Director of Safety and Membership for the Indiana Motor Truck Association and prior to that, was the Safety Manager for Wal-Mart Safety/Logistics in Greencastle, Indiana.
“My goal is to continue to utilize my experience and skills in safety and transportation, for the good of Washington Township schools, students, and families,” said Roberts. “I hope to continue to build an environment of excellence within the transportation department by increasing productivity and efficiency.”
Ke’Vin Roberts will begin his new post later this month, as current Director of Transportation, Lynn Hower retires.
