INDIANAPOLIS, IN (March 9, 2016) – On Monday, March 14 State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Glenda Ritz will visit the Washington Township school district to learn about how a district being one of only six fully authorized International Baccalaureate World School districts in the United States, delivers curriculum through this framework.

The visit will include stops to observe several classrooms to see the fundamental principles of the IB program. Superintendent Ritz will be introduced to the Primary Years Program (PYP) at one of the district elementary schools. Later in the morning, the State Superintendent will travel to North Central High School to observe two IB programs that are implemented in Washington Township at the secondary level; The Middle Years Program (MYP) and the Diploma Program (DP).
