Empowering Students to be Project Participants

Washington Township is off and running into a new school year, with all of the excitement that a new school year brings. THIS school year brings with it however, an energy that is newer, and more exciting than energies of the past. This year, we are Back to the Future in Washington Township, as our plans for new buildings and renovations are taking shape right before our eyes; and what better experts to tap into for our project planning, than the students of Washington Township! Elementary students in all corners of the district have been busy helping our architects to develop the best possible plans to accommodate our young learners. In addition to assisting with architectural plans, these young learners have also been lending their ideas for school colors and the school mascots for our two new elementary schools, scheduled to break ground on October 4, 2017.  It is an exciting time to be in Washington Township and we couldn’t be more excited to share this work with the community. Check back to our district website often for project updates.
