Donations for IB Schools in Houston

Homecoming with a Purpose

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (September 5, 2017) –  The MSD of Washington Township is encouraging the entire community to support a collection effort for International Baccalaureate Schools in the Houston area impacted by the flooding.  The community may bring your donations to the Homecoming Pre-Party or anytime during the day (September 8, 2017) up until game time at 7pm.

Donation Collection Details

Semi-Truck Location:    North Central Back Parking Lot, north of the football stadium entrance

Date:  Friday, September 8th

Time:  7:30 AM – 7:00 PM

DONATIONS NEEDED

***New items only and please bring packs/cases versus individual items where possible***

  • School Supplies
  • Cases of Bottled Water
  • Hygiene Items:  Tooth Paste, Tooth Brushes, Soap, Deodorant, Feminine Products, etc.
  • Bedding:  Blankets, Comforters, Pillows
  • Infant Items:  Case of Diapers, Baby Wipes, Baby Formula
  • New Clothing: Shoes, Socks, Pants, Shirts (all sizes)
  • Dog & Cat Food
  • Phone Chargers & Packages of Batteries
  • Canned & Non-Perishable Food
  • Large Items (Please contact Mr. Cronk at 317-819-1572 to arrange):
    • Generators
    • New Appliances
    • New A/C Units
    • New Beds/Mattresses

***An extended opportunity to donate downtown Indianapolis at the Stutz Building***

For those who are not able to make it to North Central High School on Friday, we are offering additional opportunities throughout the week to donate. DCL will be accepting donations Sept. 11th – Sept. 13th at the Stutz Business and Arts Center. Donations will be accepted in their loading dock during operating hours from 8:00am to 5:00pm. The Stutz Business and Arts Center is located at 212 W 10th St, Indianapolis, IN 46202. The loading dock is located on the South end of the building facing Naptown Fitness.
