INDIANAPOLIS, IN (April 16, 2018) – Living History Day is an annual event at North Central High School that takes place every April. Veterans from WWII, the Korean and Vietnam Conflicts, and other newer conflicts come to the NC lower student center to present their experiences and bring curriculum alive for North Central US History students. Last year over 60 veterans participated. This year Senators Todd Young and Joe Donnelly have video recorded special messages to be played for the veterans during their time at North Central. While the Senators are not able to attend in person due to Congressional duties, representatives from their offices will present thank you letters and a message to the veterans for their dedication and service to our country and for participating in this unique learning event for North Central students.
