Dr. Sean Taylor, Assistant Superintendent

   INDIANAPOLIS, IN (December 20, 2019) –   Dr. Sean Taylor has been named Assistant Superintendent of Washington Township Schools.

Dr. Taylor has served as a Principal in Washington Township for the past eight years and Assistant Principal for two years prior to that. Most recently Dr. Taylor has served Eastwood Middle School as Principal since 2016. Prior to Eastwood, Dr. Taylor was the Principal of Fox Hill Elementary from 2011-2015, and served as Assistant Principal at Allisonville Elementary from 2009 – 2011.

“I am truly honored and grateful for the opportunity to serve as Assistant Superintendent for Washington Township Schools,” said Dr. Taylor.  “It has not only been a privilege but a valuable learning experience serving as a principal at two different levels within the district.  I look forward to supporting Dr. Woodson and the mission of Washington Township Schools.”

Dr. Taylor holds his Doctor of Education from Indiana University, Bloomington with a major in Executive in Educational Leadership. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Ball State University and holds his master’s degree in School Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and holds his Superintendent License for the State of Indiana.

Dr. Taylor has participated on multiple district leadership teams in Washington Township including the Master Facilities Review Board, Response to Intervention and Instruction Leadership Team, the Washington Township Schools Safety Committee, and the Code of Conduct Committee. We are very pleased to welcome Dr. Taylor to his new role in Washington Township.
