The Operations Department is dedicated to creating and sustaining safe, healthy, and high-quality learning environments that support student success and staff excellence. Through a comprehensive range of services, the department meets the daily needs of students, employees, and the broader school community while safeguarding the district’s facilities and long-term investments.

Our work is holistic and far-reaching, encompassing child nutrition, custodial services, maintenance, capital construction and renovation projects, facility use, district printing, and warehousing. Together, these services ensure that schools operate efficiently, remain reflective of community pride, and provide environments where teaching and learning can thrive.

Each day, the Operations Department proudly supports more than 11,000 students and 1,600 employees across Washington Township Schools—working behind the scenes to keep schools clean, safe, functional, and ready for learning.
