With an eye toward the future, North Central's new Polytechnic Department brings together multiple courses that provide career-connected learning opportunities, including the Modern Apprenticeship Program, to prepare students for life after high school. Featuring a faculty of nearly 20 teachers and professionals, the Polytechnic Department touches every student as they take required courses for Indiana's new high school diploma, such as Personal Financial Responsibility, Computer Science, and Preparing for College and Careers. Students can also choose from several elective classes the department offers, allowing them to explore potential careers they might pursue later in life. From art history to marketing, the Polytechnic Department has an elective for every student. The new Polytechnic Department at North Central High School is growing panthers!
