April Recognitions

At the April 10, 2024 Regular Meeting of the Board of Education the following individuals were recognized for helping to make Washington Township a Superior School District.

Congratulations to Nechelle Jones, an Instructional Coach at Allisonville Elementary School, for her excellent and outstanding work in education and the community. Ms. Jones was nominated for her exemplary work at the 44th Annual Minority Achievers & Scholarship Gala on March 28. This event is an inspiring evening of recognition by Center for Leadership Development (CLD), educators, business and community leaders to celebrate the accomplishments of minority professionals, community leaders and CLD scholars. The Center for Leadership Development is an organization with a vision to empower Central Indiana African American students to achieve their highest personal, postsecondary, and professional success through comprehensive character, academic, and career development. Congratulations again Ms. Jones on this nomination, we are beyond thrilled to have you as part of the Washington Township Schools staff!

The following new School Resource Officers (SROs) of the MSDWT School Police Department:were sworn in at the April 10, 2024 meeting of the School Board.
