A typical daily schedule for kindergarten across the district is similar to the following:

8:30-8:45         Arrival/Breakfast/Morning Work

8:45-9:10         Morning Meeting/Read Aloud/Calendar/Morning Message

9:15-10:05       Specials (Spanish, Music, Physical Education, Art, Media Center/Technology)

10:10-11:30    Literacy (Guided Reading and Writing, Literacy Stations, Phonics, Vocabulary, Shared Reading)

11:30-12:00    Lunch

12:00-12:20    Recess

12:30-1:15       Math

1:15-1:50         Social Sciences

1:50-2:20         Writer’s Workshop

2:20-2:40         Snack/Recess

2:40-3:15         Discovery

3:15-3:30         Pack Up/Dismissal
