The announcement of authorization for the district middle schools and high school this past June, made Washington Township the first school district in the state of Indiana (and one of only 6 nationwide), to be a fully authorized school district, delivering curriculum through the IB framework to every student.

The IB vision is to create a better world through education. “It has been a five year journey to become a fully authorized International Baccalaureate World School district,” said Washington Township Superintendent Dr. Nikki Woodson. “ We could not be more excited to be starting our 2014-15 school year with each of our elementary, middle schools, and North Central High School fully authorized IB World Schools.”
