On behalf of the MSDWT District Equity Leadership Team (DELT), you are invited to engage in learning surrounding “The Developing Brain.” In this session, the second in a series for families and community members, we will explore the neuroscience of brain development at different ages of growth in children. Starting as young as infancy and into adolescence we will explore the brain states that promote safety, connection and cognition. This foundational understanding will be connected to defining Transformative Social Emotional Learning in MSDWT through the lens of culturally responsive practices and equity.
