Former NC Athlete Coaching in Tokyo

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (July 25, 2021) –Troy Hahn, former North Central High School tennis player, has been named a coach for this year’s men’s Olympic Tennis Team in Tokyo.

Hahn who works for the United States Tennis Association, was the 1999 singles tennis Champion and a member of the all-state team, all four years while playing for North Central High School.
Graduating from North Central in 2000, Hahn received a full ride to the University of Florida and played all four years for the Gators. His senior year in Florida (2004) he was named Gator Men’s Athlete of the year.
While a Gator he was the captain of the team his junior and senior years, all SEC academic, all SEC in tennis and helped the team to two years undefeated in the SEC as well as appearances all four years in the NCAA tournament.
Hahn still holds several records at the University of Florida and played on the pro tour for several years before coaching a number of top ten ranked players.
