ELC is Dedicated January 10

January 10, 2024 marked the dedication of the Early Learning Center. The Ribbon Cutting ceremony celebrated the new building that will be the home for our youngest learners, thanks to community support of the 2016 and 2020 referenda.

This state-of-the-art facility is designed to accommodate the youngest learners, including those attending the daycare program and the developmental preschool. The new facility boasts enhanced security features, energy-efficient HVAC and lighting systems, a large multi-use activity room featuring sweeping views of the adjacent woods, age-specific play areas that are accessible to students with disabilities, and design elements that draw from the natural environment, creating engaging interior spaces with plenty of natural lighting. All of these features provide an outstanding environment for students to learn and grow while accommodating the unique needs of these young scholars.

The Early Learning Center was dedicated on January 10, 2024, during a ribbon-cutting ceremony that included members of the Washington Township Schools District Leadership Team, Early Learning Center staff and students, and members of the community.
