4 Recent Alumni Will Represent NCWS in Collegiate Post-Season Play This Weekend

Emma Markey (Ohio Weslyan) vs. Wisconsin-Oshkosh in the NCAA DIII National Tournament

Ashley Turner (Hanover) vs. Loras College in the NCAA DIII National Tournament

Kate Sanner (#14 ranked Washington University in St. Louis) vs. Thomas More College, NCAA DIII National Tournament

Amber Pennybaker (#19 ranked Tampa) vs. University of North Alabama, NCAA DII National Tournament

Also, two former Panthers wrapped up their extremely successful collegiate careers last week. Defender Gabi Ingram started every match this season for Kent State while Jessica Brooks led Xavier in scoring.

At Butler, sophomore Julie Burton started 10 of their 20 matches in goal, leading the team with 42 saves on the season.

Molly Lazaron played in 13 of 17 games at DePauw, helping the team to a 4th place finish in the conference, and Dani Goeke saw action in 16 of 18 matches at Taylor.

Jasmine Moses shared the team scoring crown as a freshman at Ball State this season and let the MAC conference with 4 game-winning goals. She was recently named to the MAC All-Freshman Team.

We take great pride in watching and supporting those who proudly wore the NC red and black as they continue to excel at the next level. The North Central tradition of sending student-athletes to competitive athletic and academic universities continues as Mary Bittner has announced her commitment to play soccer next year at the University of Chicago.

Mary and all of her 2011 NCWS teammates will celebrate their individual and team accomplishments Sunday, November 20 at the team awards dinner to be held at the WT CEC just east of the high school on 86th Street.
