Few distance runners have dominated their sport like North Central’s Futsum Zeinasellassie. A three-time state champion in the 3,200-meter in track and field and a three-time individual state cross country champion, the senior is setting a new standard.
Futsum will be running in the Nike Cross Country National (NXN) meet Saturday afternoon in Oregon. You can watch the race at the following link. Our NC champ is favored to win! Next week he runs in the other national meet … the Footlocker Nationals in San Diego.
