INDIANAPOLIS, IN (September 29, 2016) – Kaitlin Baumgartner, second grade teacher at Spring Mill Elementary has been announced, winner of $10,000 for Spring Mill, from Folgers Coffee.

Nominated by former teaching colleague and current blogger Kathy Hodson, Hodson stated:
“Folgers asked me to nominate a public figure who I thought was deserving of a year’s supply of coffee to keep them going. I nominated Kaitlin because she is amazing. In addition to being a mommy to three young kids she teaches 27 second graders and runs a small business. She takes time with her students and their families and make sure that their needs are met both at school and at home. I don’t know how she does it every day but I am sure coffee plays a part in keeping up with it all. “
Folgers delivered the check to Spring Mill and will also served breakfast (and of course coffee) to the entire staff on September 29th.
The $10,000 award to Spring Mill Elementary was a surprise to both Kathy and Kaitlin.

The Program
Folgers Perfect Measures is currently available in three markets: Kansas City, St. Louis, and Indianapolis. In an effort to give back, Folgers identifies one local community member in each city who is up early, relies on coffee, and most importantly, brightens the mornings of others. In the spirit of giving back and in honor of the contributions that Kaitlin makes every day, Folgers will reward her with a year’s supply of Folgers Coffee, treat she and her colleagues to breakfast and coffee on National Coffee Day, and offer a $10,000 donation to Spring Mill Elementary.
