At the February 8, 2017 Regular Meeting of the Board of Education the following group was recognized for helping to make Washington Township a Superior School District.

The Board of Education recognizes the leadership team that launched the Tech2Teach Program. Born out of the FutureReady Schools action plan, the Tech2Teach program gives teachers an avenue to earn devices for a 1:1 classroom. Teachers complete coursework and coaching to gain a better understanding of blended learning and how teaching in a connected classroom can support inquiry and the IB Framework. To date, 92 teachers have opted into the program, 65 have completed, impacting 6,905 students.
