At the February 10, 2016 Regular Meeting of the Board of Education the following individuals and groups were recognized for helping to make Washington Township a Superior School District.
Noah Taylor – John Strange Elementary Student
Noah gave his coat to a boy who didn’t have a coat whom he saw, and talked to, outside his doctor’s office. Noah saw a need and took action!
Sydney Roach – North Central High School Student
Sydney is a 2016 candidate for the United States Presidential Scholars Program. The Presidential Scholars Program was
established in 1964 to recognize and honor some our nations most distinguished graduating seniors. Scholars are chosen on the basis of their accomplishments in many areas and represent excellence in education. Sydney will be invited to Washington DC in June to participate in the National Recognition Program.
